This summer brought The Open Championship back to Southport, England and the Royal Birkdale Golf Club. 10 years ago Mark O’Meara took the Claret Jug in an exciting playoff, and this year Greg Norman, and the eventual winner, Padraig Harrington made the week just as spectacular. But for anyone who witnessed the event, they all know the wind and the weather were the Star of the Show. The great Gary Oldman tells us all about the treacherous links of Birkdale.
